Play a crucial role at OPG as a Design Engineer for the Pickering Protected Storage Project. This onsite role demands expertise in Engineering Change Control and a commitment to safety and quality.
Ongoing for 18 months, this MP4 position entails preparation and review of engineering documentation, hands-on field work, and project planning. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality design products while interfacing with regulators and stakeholders. Strong candidates will possess a degree in mechanical or nuclear engineering and demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review engineering documentation and specifications
• Conduct field work and provide technical support
• Assist in project planning and execution
• Prepare technical justifications and training plans
• Interface with stakeholders on engineering matters
Requirements:
• 4-year degree in mechanical or nuclear engineering
• P.Eng. designation required
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Experience with Engineering Change Control preferred
• Nuclear and project management experience considered an asset
