Reporting to the Manager of Practicum Applications, we are hiring a Practicum Advisor to support students in the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program as they prepare for practicum. As our new Practicum Advisor, you will guide students through pre-practicum requirements, helping them understand what they need to complete and supporting their progression through each stage of the process. You will review applications and documentation, track student progress, and collaborate with university teams to help ensure students are prepared to move forward with their placements in accordance with university requirements.
This is a fully remote role open to candidates across Canada.
Impact on a critical stage of the student journey. Specialized knowledge and career growth. You will build expertise in practicum processes, graduate education, student advising, and the requirements involved in preparing counselling psychology students for field training. Working across student services, faculty, practicum sites,
and supervisors will give you broad exposure to the academic and administrative processes behind experiential learning while strengthening skills you can continue to build on within student services and post-secondary education.
