The Acute Inpatient Psychiatry Unit provides comprehensive psychiatric services 24/7 for adults in crisis. As a Registered Nurse, you will bring your expertise in mental health to manage symptoms and support patient recovery. Your role will involve assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for patients
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer pharmacological treatments as prescribed




• Facilitate health teaching initiatives for patients and families
• Collaborate with psychology, social work, and other professionals

Requirements:
• Valid Certificate of Registration from College of Nurses Ontario
• 1-2 years of mental health experience in active care
• Basic Life Support certification within the past year
• Knowledge of Mental Health Act and psychotropic medications
• Bilingualism in English and French required
