Key Responsibilities:
• Assess mental health status and risks of patients
• Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
• Provide health teaching to individuals and groups
• Manage challenging psychiatric symptoms in acute patients
• Document care and treatment plans accurately
Requirements:
• Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
• Mental health experience in an active care setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within last year
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and health teaching
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
