Join Voices 4 Ability Radio as a Reporter dedicated to telling impactful stories within the Canadian disability community. You'll focus on crafting news that informs and engages our audience through interviews and field reporting.
This position requires a passion for news and robust storytelling skills. As a Reporter, you will research and present stories that highlight the abilities of community members while collaborating with team members. You'll play a vital role in delivering accurate information and engaging programming that resonates with our listeners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research, write, and present news stories for broadcasts
• Identify and develop compelling stories through interviews
• Cover live events and breaking news as required
• Conduct interviews and extract valuable information
• Engage with audiences via social media and community events
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a journalist
• Post-secondary education in journalism required
• Strong attention to detail in reporting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
