We are looking for 3-5 year of experience Technician lI - AV to lead large commercial AV installation projects. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with AV systems such as the following but not limited to; Crestron, BiAmp, Cisco and Extron.ResponsibilitiesSupport, lead, and mentor team membersInstall and service cabling infrastructure and audio / visual devices; includes pre-wiring, installation, termination, testing, reporting, and labelling per specifications / drawingsInstall audio / visual equipment, including: audio and video conferencing equipment, distributed audio, digital signage, sound reinforcement, control systems, public announcement systems and all presentation systemsInteract with customers and prospects, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionallyEnsure that safety and incident reporting procedures are followedComplete detailed and accurate paperworkSupport, lead, and mentor team members.Design systems and layoutMaintain a high level of safety and professionalismLead projects at a site level, manage a team of junior technicians as necessary.Other duties as requiredRequired QualificationsAbility to read and interpret AV functional and construction drawingsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detailFlexibility to work in a variety of environments, from construction sites to finished corporate offices3 - 5 years' experience installing AV Systems preferred but experience from an electrical,



mechanical and/or construction environment will be consideredComfortable working at heightsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsProficiency in the use of relevant tools and equipmentValid Driver's License with clean abstractMust be able to pass a background checkAble to work at a minimum with no supervisionWilling to start CTS Certification program within three months of employmentWilling to work one on-call shift per monthPreferred QualificationsCertification with Crestron, QSC, CTS, Extron and BiAmp would be considered an assetPost-secondary education in electronics, electrical, telecommunications, or equivalent would be an assetSalary Range: $26.68 - $35.84 DOEVacancy Status: This posting is for a current and existing vacancyPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop.
