Amity Foundation seeks compassionate individuals for its Counselor II/III role within its Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program. Your expertise in evidence-based practices will facilitate transformative classes and individual sessions for participants. You'll document progress and collaborate with institutional staff while playing a crucial role in community rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate CBI classes using evidence-based curricula
• Conduct individual sessions for release prevention planning
• Evaluate and document participant progress and engagement
• Record service delivery in ARMS accurately
• Work collaboratively with CDCR and contracted staff
Requirements:
• AOD Counselor certification required for both levels
• Counselor III requires one year full time AOD counseling experience
• Commitment to community support and integration
• Ability to foster trust and build relationships
• Experience in a therapeutic or educational setting
