Siltech Corporation, a Canadian owned Chemical company, is looking to hire immediately 1 full time, permanent Bulk Shipper/Receiver for our Fort Erie facility.This opportunity offers a full Benefits and Pension package.Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position is primarily responsible for processing finished products and other goods coming in and out of the Tank Farm and Warehouse. The Bulk Shipper/Receiver is ultimately responsible for the appearance of all products leaving Siltech bound for customers, as well as ensuring that the product is properly labeled.Specific responsibilities include the following:Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments, both packaged bulk and warehouseClosely monitor waste material being generated and schedule accordingly for removalCoordinate necessary shipping,



determine appropriate methods of shipping and prepare relevant paperworkEnsure accurate customs procedures are followed for all out of country shipmentsPrepare required receiving documents for inbound shipmentsUnload, receive and stock inbound items to inventoryPerform accurate cycle countsSupport other team members to ensure smooth department operationsProvide routine warehouse housekeepingPerform other duties, as assigned.Requirements:High School Diploma2 years in a Chemical Manufacturing environment2 years in Bulk (tank wagons) unloading/loadingBasic computer knowledgeForklift Safety Certification required - Narrow Aisle Reach TruckWHMIS and TDG trainingAbility to work in fast paced setting and maintain order accuracyWilling and able to handle the physical demands of the job
