Elevate governance support as the Executive Assistant to Council at 'Na̱mǥis First Nation in Alert Bay, BC. This full-time, on-site role focuses on administrative coordination and community engagement.

Reporting directly to the Senior Administrator, the Executive Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the Council operates efficiently and in alignment with 'Na̱mǥis governance. Key responsibilities include organizing Council meetings, managing documentation, and facilitating communication with stakeholders. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help strengthen community accountability and the overall functioning of the Council.

Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and coordinate all aspects of Council meetings
• Capture and distribute accurate minutes within five days




• Manage inquiries and communication with confidentiality
• Coordinate logistics for community engagement and events
• Arrange travel and handle Council travel claims

Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma, office administration training
• 2 years of office administration experience
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of 'Na̱mǥis governance issues
