Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

une experience liee a l’habitation/batiment est importante , par exemple : inspection en batiment, estimation, restauration apres sinistre ou construction.

Lieux de travail : Montreal (2020, boul. Robert-Bourassa), Laval (600, rue Lucien-Paiement) ou Saint-Hyacinthe (2450, rue Girouard Ouest), Quebec ( 5700 Boul des Galeries)
Horaire : 8 h 30 a 16 h 30, du lundi au vendredi (35 h/semaine)

Ce que vous accomplirez

• Recueillir la version des faits aupres des assures ou des temoins et documenter les evenements.
• Analyser les garanties applicables et determiner si le sinistre est couvert.
• Évaluer l’information recueillie, etablir les decisions necessaires (responsabilite, analyse du dossier) et examiner l’evaluation des dommages.
• Regler les sinistres de façon juste et equitable : valider les dommages, negocier au besoin et proceder aux paiements.
• Au besoin, ouvrir de nouveaux dossiers de reclamation par telephone et assurer une prise en charge rapide de la situation.

Exigences et profil recherche

• Motivation a evoluer dans le domaine de l’indemnisation.
• Experience pertinente (ex. batiment / estimation / restauration apres sinistre / construction; connaissance en mecanique du batiment, un atout).
• Excellentes habiletes de communication, tant a l’oral qu’a l’ecrit.
• Sens de l’analyse, jugement et rigueur dans le traitement des dossiers.
• Solides competences en gestion du temps et capacite a gerer plusieurs priorites.
• À l’aise avec les outils et systemes informatiques.
• Bilinguisme français/anglais requis : Necessite de repondre aux appels et de fournir une prestation de services a une clientele anglophone sur une base reguliere.

Conditions pour l’obtention du permis (pendant l’emploi)

Afin d’obtenir votre permis d’expert en sinistre, vous devez repondre a l’un des criteres suivants :

• Diplome d’etudes collegiales (DEC)
  
  
  
  OU
• 3 ans d’experience a temps plein transferable, ET un diplome d’etudes secondaires (DES/DEP – au moins 60 unites) ou equivalent (CEES / attestation d’equivalence).

Formation

• Formation remuneree , a temps plein, vous permettant de decouvrir concretement le domaine de l’assurance et la culture d’Intact.
• Encadrement et soutien pendant la preparation aux examens menant a l’obtention du permis d’expert en sinistre.
