Position SummaryThe Building Operator will participate in all aspects of Rogers Arena's preventative maintenance program and installation and operation of the ice sheet. This includes lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, and all other related equipment.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesParticipate in all aspects of the preventative maintenance program for HVAC, refrigeration, and other building mechanical equipmentParticipate in all aspects of installation, maintenance, and operation of ice sheet as directedOperate lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, and all related equipmentOperate, inspect, and adjust HVAC controls and schedules as directedOperate, inspect, and adjust refrigeration plant operation, including start-up and shut-down of plant and related equipmentLiaise with in-house technical staff, internal and external clients, and contract trades people to ensure efficient operation and completion of assigned tasksAssist with inventory controls for all maintenance parts and supplies related to the physical plant and building operationProvide event-related support for all building systemsClassificationBuilding OperatorDepartmentArena OperationsReports toManager, Plant OperationsWage Rate$43.90/hourRequired Experience And QualificationsIce Facility Operator Certificate requiredFourth Class Power Engineers Certificate or Refrigeration Operator Certificate preferredKnowledge of automated building control systems,
