Wage: $31.50/hour

Job Type: Permanent, Full time (30 hours/week)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: One year experience is an asset but will train

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions

Physically demanding, large workload

Job Duties

Measure, cut,



and install drywall sheets in residential and commercial settings

Tape joints using a taping machine and apply compound to embed tape

Fill gaps, nail holes, and imperfections with compound using trowel and broad knife

Cut and install metal corner beads to protect corners

Smooth out excess compound and allow it to dry properly

Work safely at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages

Supervise a small team of drywall workers as needed

Additional Information

Must be able to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Work may take place on residential and commercial sites
