Join our Team
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated part-time Grade 1 and part-time PHE teacher (0.77 FTE) (starting mid-February) . At VCS,
we have the privilege of teaching and shaping our students through every interaction within and outside our classrooms. As teaching staff, we love to nurture the potential we see in every child and to share God's love through our actions and words.
Requirements
Certified teacher in British Columbia
Completion of a Bachelor of Education
ECE is an asset
Experience teaching numeracy and literacy
Understanding of faith integration across the curriculum
Robust understanding of universal design for learning (UDL) and differentiated instruction
Strong working knowledge of current pedagogy, sound assessment practices and learningEmpowered by technology
Strong communicator
Enthusiastic, collaborative team member
Salary range
$61,950 to $110,641 per school year (Dependent on education, qualifications, and experience; pro-rated for part-time teachers)
