Lead the growth of commercial underwriting with a well-established MGA from anywhere in Canada or remotely. Bring your expertise in handling complex risks and taking ownership of diversified portfolios.

This full-time Senior Commercial Property Underwriter role offers a unique blend of technical underwriting and opportunities for leadership. You will underwrite recent and renewal business focused on risks up to $20 million in total insured value. Collaborate with assessment teams and maintain critical relationships with brokers and partners as you contribute to the team's expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
• Underwrite new and renewal commercial property business
• Manage complex risks, including multi-location portfolios
• Develop claims-mitigation strategies for underwriting decisions




• Collaborate with liability and construction underwriting teams
• Maintain compliance with documentation standards

Requirements:
• 5–8 years of commercial property underwriting experience
• MGA experience preferred, with flexibility for primary-market underwriters
• Hands-on with property schedules and complex commercial risks
• Self-starter attitude with a growth mindset
• Familiarity with EPIC or Policy Works is a plus
