This role involves active supervision of hallways, washrooms, cafeterias, and other common areas. The Hall Monitor supports school staff in enforcing behavioural and uniform expectations, de- escalating conflicts, and ensuring student safety and compliance with school policies.Patrol hallways and maintain a visible presence to ensure student and staff safetyEnforce school rules including uniform and behavioural expectationsRedirect students to appropriate locations such as classrooms, guidance, or the officeDe-escalate conflicts and report incidents including but not limited to aggression, intoxication, or property damageMonitor washrooms for safety, cleanliness,



and prohibited activities such as vaping or drug useSupervise the cafeteria during lunch periods and ensure cleanliness and appropriate behaviourMonitor bus loading/unloading zones and enforce traffic and parking rulesCollaborate with administration and teaching staff regarding student behaviour and attendanceSupport emergency drills and provide assistance during emergency response team (ERT) callsWrite incident reports and provide witness statements when requiredMinimum Requirements:Completion of secondary school.
