Overview A structured Server role is critical to serve prepared foods and drinks to Tap 25 guests. The server will typically will spend the most time with guests during their stay at Tap 25.
Responsibilities Prepare tables or counters for meals.
Stock the service area with supplies (e.g. coffee, glassware).
Greet customers, present menus and/or help customers to select menu items.
Inform customers about daily specials.
Record orders and place them with the kitchen and bar.
Pick up and serve orders.
Check that customers are enjoying their meals and correct any problems.
Suggest and serve desserts and beverages.
Clean and re-set tables.
Tabulate and present bills for payment.
To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications 2-3 years’ experience in a dining establishment
AGLC – Proserve/Protect preferred
Mathematic Skills: Basic math may be needed to verify cash receipts.
Customer Service Skills: Servers need proper customer service skills as they have a lot of interaction with guests and must deal with a number of special requests.
Physical Coordination: The server must have the ability to move food trays effectively across the restaurant floor. Trays loaded with food may be as heavy as 15lbs.
Communication Skills: Reading,



writing, speaking, and listening are important for the server to communicate effectively to guests, kitchen staff, and food and beverage helpers.
Able to work as a part of a team.

The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.
