Join Oxford Learning Oakville North as a Part-Time High School Math Tutor! Help shape student success in math and physics through in-person tutoring experiences.
We are looking for passionate educators to support high school students in their mathematics and physics learning. Our centre seeks dedicated part-time teacher/tutors, ideally OCT-certified, or qualified undergraduates. Strong math skills across topics such as Functions, Calculus, and Physics are essential, and applicants must be available for evening sessions at least twice a week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach up to 3 students at varying levels
• Follow Oxford Learning's teaching methodologies
• Fill in post-lesson notes for student updates
• Communicate with students regularly
• Maintain a friendly qualified demeanor
Requirements:
• OCT-certification preferred but not mandatory
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant fields
• Experience tutoring high school math and science
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple students at once
