As anSupervised Instructor Therapist on our team, you are an integral part of our specialized services for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders or other developmental disabilities. Hourly.Start Date: ASAPHeadcount: 2Work setup: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm ETSalary: $21 - 24/hrTake an inside look at what you will do each day:Responsible for implementing treatment plans based on best practices.Uses systematic methods and behavioural strategies to support client in changing their behaviourContributes to the development of ABA programs established by the BCBA to teach and reinforce a variety of skills for children and youth in a 1:1 and/or small group settingUnderstand the functions of behavior and responding appropriately and safely when situations ariseAdhere to all ABA training, procedures and protocolsAbility to adapt to changing conditions and/or routine and provide creative solutionsResponsible for creating a positive and engaging environment for the clientResponsible for maintaining the well-being and safety of the client while under their careResponsible to track client progress through the collection of data and graphing while keeping clients engagedAssists in conducting baseline measurements and other indirect measures as instructed by the Lead Therapist/BCaBA/BCBAResponsible to complete incident report in Microsoft Teams as per regional requirements within 24 hours of an incidentPrepares teaching materials and organizes teaching environmentDocuments/records exceptional circumstances, completes ABC logs, and tracks multiple behavioursOrganize and maintain program binders foreach client to include documentation, data collection, and individual filesMaintains workspace organization and cleanlinessSupport clients with personal care tasks such as dressing, toileting, and eatingResponsible for completing indirect work under the direction of the clinician in the appropriate time allotted and framework expected.Here is what you will need to be successfulDiploma or degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Early Childhood Education (ECE), Educational Assistant (EA), Child and Youth Care, or another related field.Experience working with groups of children in a classroom, childcare, camp, therapeutic, or educational setting.Passion for creating engaging,



play-based learning opportunities through crafts, songs, games, movement activities, and structured academic programming.Experience supporting the development of communication, social, play, self-regulation, and school readiness skills.Ability to plan, prepare, and adapt activities to meet the diverse learning and behavioural needs of children.Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.Flexible and adaptable to shifting clinical and operational priorities.Supports both direct client programming and indirect classroom/clinic responsibilities (e.G., materials preparation, classroom organization, data collection, and documentation).Demonstrates strong accountability, reliability, and follow-through in both independent and collaborative team environments.Experience implementing ABA principles and behaviour support strategies is required; experience working under the supervision of a Behaviour Analyst is considered an assetWhat can Monarch House offer youWe are proud of our friendly environment, supportive leadership and the knowledgeable team members who make it all possible.
