Do
MEDATech Engineering Services is looking for Sudbury-based Field Service Technician to provide hands-on technical stuff for MEDATech drill deployment near Chapleau, Ontario. This role sits at intersection of field service and engineering: you're the person on-site keeping the equipment running, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydrolic, and control system issues in real time, while also feeding what you learn in the field back into MEDATech's engineering team to improve the product. You're split your time between customer site and MEDATech's Sudbury area base, concerning regular travel to ChapleauOntario for commission, trigging, and scheduled service work. This…

Key Responsets:

Field Sposion – Provide on-site commission, trig, and repair support for MEDATech's drill and into systems at Chapleau base, includ dog and correct mechanical, electrical, hydrolic, and control system failure.

Root Cause Analysis – Analyze equipment failures in the fiel, determine root cause, and implement short- and long-long term corrective actions to prevent reccurence.

Customer Support
vPont – Act as the primary technical point of contact on-site, building strong works relationships with customer operations and maintenance personnel, and communicating equipment performance and issues back to MEDATech.

Electrical & Controls Troubleshooting – Read and interpret electrical schematics, wirign diagram,



and control system logic to diagnose faults; work with PLC/control systems as required.

Mechanical & Hydraulic Troubleshooting – Read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic drawing and assembly dogram; diagnose and repair hydraulic and mechanical systems on drill equipment.

Engineering Feedback Loop – Document field issues, failure mode, and equipment performance, and work with MEDATech's engineering team to drive design improvements and reliability fixtures.

Reporting – Prepare field service reports, time studies, equipment performance summaries, and technical documentation as required to support the characteristic relationship and internal engineering review.

Parts & Logistics – Identify parts and component needs arising from field repairs, and assist with parts sourcing and installation, provide input for cost estimates for repair and support work.

Health & Safety – Strict adherence to MEDATech and client health and safety polcies at mining and remote sites.

Position Qualifications and Requirements :

Pos-post degree or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field; or, a Certificate of Qualification as a heavy-duty/construction equipment mechanic or millwright with equivalent hand-on field experience.

Minimum 2–3 years of hand-on field service experience with heavy mobile equipment, drill, or similar mining/construction machinery
