The incumbent is responsible for oversight of various Salvation Army Christmas campaigns as well as the coordination of all staff and volunteers. This position may be assigned to provide coordination for one or multiple campaigns such as Christmas Kettle Campaign, Christmas Hampers, Santa Shuffle, and Toy Drives campaigns.ACCOUNTABILITIESAttend a day of training/orientation on The Salvation Army and the Christmas Kettle CampaignProvide support,
direction and supervision of Christmas Campaign support staffManage the collection of confidential information pertaining to clients and/or sponsors ensuring updated records are maintained in the databaseWork with clients and sponsors to ensure the appropriate level of need is being addressed through the requirements of the campaignIn partnership with other campaign coordinators, liaise as required with the city, community agencies and businesses for promotional purposesProvide volunteer and worker training as requiredPrepare, coordinate and distribute correspondence as required to clients and/or sponsorsProvide updated campaign information through statistical reporting requirementsSolicit a variety of donations and/or sponsorship commitment in support of the assigned Christmas campaignEnsure the secure and safe keeping of all donated goods throughout the seasonOversee the collection, sorting and distribution of items such as toys and hampersCoordinate the delivery and pick-up of donations as requiredProvide oversight and attend special events and activitiesSubmit final campaign reports outlining highlights and recommendations for future campaign coordinationPerform other work-related duties as assigned.CRITICAL RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENTInternal: TSA staff members, Kettle campaign team, Christmas campaign teamExternal: Community membersMANAGERIAL/TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIESReports directly to the _____.Direct reports:
