Lead community engagement as a Program Supervisor for the SMART Exercise and Fall Prevention program. Focus on empowering seniors and individuals with disabilities through engaging, low-impact exercise.
This full time role is designed for health professionals passionate about active aging and quality of life improvement. As a Program Supervisor, you will oversee staff performance and ensure effective delivery of activities for participants aged 55+. Experience in community-based health care and prior supervision is vital for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support front-line staff performance
• Organize work activities and staff responsibilities
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary client care meetings
• Ensure client documentation meets VON standards
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations
Requirements:
• Post-Secondary Diploma in Health/Social Science
• Minimum 5 years related community health experience
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role
• First Aid or CPR certification required
• Access to a personal vehicle for work
