Women Building Futures seeks a knowledgeable Millwright Instructor to lead workshops and share hands-on expertise. This opportunity typically involves teaching full-time for 2 weeks, 2-4 times a year. Excellent listening and communication skills are essential for fostering a supportive and effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate learning through effective instructional strategies
• Monitor student involvement and adherence to policies
• Manage classroom dynamics for a safe setting
• Mentor and build relationships with students
• Participate in curriculum development and evaluations
Requirements:
• Millwright Journeyperson certification
• Experience mentoring apprentices in the field
• Desire to teach and share industry knowledge
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
• Teaching experience preferred
