Assisted Living Alberta is looking for a dedicated Recreation Therapy Assistant for its Fairview Health Complex. You'll work under the supervision of the Recreation Therapist as part of an interprofessional team. With a focus on evidence-based, client-centered practices, you will promote functional independence and quality care for residents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Allied Health and Nursing teams
• Implement therapeutic recreation activities for clients
• Monitor and evaluate client progress under qualified guidance




• Promote functional independence through recreation
• Participate in quality improvement and program planning efforts

Requirements:
• Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation or equivalent
• Valid BCLS-HCP certification
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred with seniors
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently and take directions
