We are currently seeking a reliable, professional, and experienced Site Supervisor to join our security team.This is a great opportunity for a security professional looking to take on a leadership role with a consistent full time daytime scheduleLocation: Winnipeg, DowntownShift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PMSchedule: Full-TimePay Rate: $17.25/hourKey ResponsibilitiesSupervise and provide direction to security personnelConduct regular security and site inspectionsConduct staff briefings and provide direction on daily dutiesManage staff breaks and maintain appropriate site coverageRespond to incidents and emergencies and take a leadership role when requiredIdentify and address safety and security concernsDeter and detect unauthorized activity, theft, vandalism, and other security breachesProvide professional customer service to visitors, staff, contractors, and other individuals on siteDeal with difficult or challenging individuals in a calm and professional mannerComplete incident reports and other required documentationLiaise with emergency services and other agencies when requiredEnsure site procedures and security requirements are followedPerform other duties as assigned by managementRequirementsValid Manitoba Security Guard LicensePrevious security experience required; supervisory experience is an assetStrong written and verbal English communication skillsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong customer-service and interpersonal skillsProfessional appearance and conductAbility to remain calm and make appropriate decisions during incidentsBasic computer skillsCurrent First Aid/CPR/AED certificationAbility to successfully complete all required site-specific trainingThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
