Logistics Manager

Job Summary

Eutectic Canada is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee and coordinate customer service, daily logistics, warehousing, shipping, receiving, and transportation activities. This mid-level management role is responsible for ensuring efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, timely deliveries, and continuous improvement of logistics operations while supporting company objectives and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Design overall distribution, warehousing, and transportation strategies to lower costs and boost efficiency.

Vendor Negotiation: Contracts freight carriers, suppliers, and 3PL (third-party logistics) partners.

Supply Chain Oversight: Manages the lifecycle of goods from purchasing to final delivery.

Data Analysis: Reviews metrics, key performance indicators and evaluates carrier performance.

Customer Service: Manages customer service department.

Performance Management: Supervise warehouse, logistics and customer service personnel, including scheduling and performance reviews.

Health & Safety: Maintain compliance with health & safety standards, company policies, and transportation regulations

Cost reduction: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Qualifications & Experience

Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred

3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse,



or supply chain operations

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of transportation, shipping, and inventory control practices

Forklift certification or experience is considered an asset

Bilingual (English & French)
