Join our dynamic team of 700 dedicated staff and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of laboratory medicine.DutiesOperating, troubleshooting and maintaining cleanliness of laboratory equipment and work areaPreparing written and electronic reports required to document procedures and test resultsParticipating in teaching, educational, safety and quality improvement programsObserving and understanding Hospital and departmental policies and proceduresQualificationsCompletion of a recognized Medical Laboratory Technologist program, requiredCurrent registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists (CMLTO), requiredOne (1) year recent laboratory experience in a large hospital Hematology Laboratory, preferredKnowledge of routine hematology and coagulation techniquesDemonstrates ability to develop skill and knowledge in all areas of the laboratory (on-the-job experience)Knowledge of the theory and practice of laboratory procedures, instruments, equipment and special techniques (on-the-job experience),
