As a key team member, you will maintain Nuvacore's compiler toolchain stack across GCC and LLVM, ensuring every processor capability is effective in software. Your role focuses on designing, implementing, and troubleshooting compiler backend support while collaborating closely with CPU architects and performance engineers to enhance applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement compiler backend for Nuvacore's ISA
• Diagnose and resolve codegen correctness bugs
• Integrate upstream changes to LLVM/GCC and contribute upstream
• Drive architectural decisions impacting toolchain design
• Optimize performance of system libraries and dynamic environments
Requirements:
• 15+ years in compiler internals with LLVM/GCC
• Robust understanding of backend construction
• Low-level programming experience in x86, ARM, or RISC-V
• Proven debugging skills in complex software systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing practices
