In this full time role, you will collaborate closely with the financial planning team, analyzing operations and driving initiatives to improve business performance. Key responsibilities include Budget and AFE Management, ensuring adherence to joint venture agreements, and delivering timely financial reports for decision-making. Your expertise will support budgeting, forecasting, and financial governance for assigned assets.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead annual budget management and governance processes
• Provide financial guidance on capital projects and R&D; initiatives




• Monitor AFE and project spending, identifying budget variances
• Conduct monthly financial forecasting and reporting
• Serve as an advisor on joint venture agreements

Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Finance or related field
• 5-8 years of financial reporting experience in oil and gas
• Experience with Joint Venture projects
• Knowledge of IFRS for oil and gas considered an asset
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
