Canada Packers is seeking a Part Time Workplace Specialist for an 18-month contract in Landmark, MB. Focus on manure management, compliance, and coordination to enhance sustainability programs.

As an Environment Specialist, you will work closely with the Environment Team, ensuring environmental compliance within Canada Packers. Your expertise in agriculture or engineering, alongside a focus on agronomy or soil science, will boost our sustainable practices. You’ll manage vendors, coordinate programs, and develop corrective action plans, engaging with barn employees to promote compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the Manure Management Program and vendor oversight
• Administer manure applicator agreements and contracts




• Support operational programs during critical manure management periods
• Process invoicing across multiple streams
• Develop environmental corrective action plans and supervise training

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Agriculture, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Agronomy, Agroecology, or Soil Science
• Strong organization, communication, and time management skills
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Willingness to travel within Manitoba and Saskatchewan
