Play a critical role in aircraft safety as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with CAE in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Your expertise will ensure aircraft readiness and performance in essential training operations.
As part of CAE's Future Aircrew Training program, you will support the Royal Canadian Air Force by performing inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft systems. Your responsibilities will include maintaining tools, ordering spare parts, and completing shop-maintenance tasks, contributing to the protected operation of aircraft. This role requires collaboration and communication skills to provide updates to team leaders and manage maintenance activities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect, maintain, repair, and test aircraft systems
• Remove and replace line-replaceable units and components
• Perform specialty maintenance tasks in shop environments
• Interpret technical publications and diagrams
• Conduct flight line servicing operations
Requirements:
• Transport Canada M1/M2 certification or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience
• Strong communication skills in English
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to obtain Government of Canada security clearance
