Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Experience
Five (5) years' recent clinical experience as a certified Cardiology Technologist required.
Previous recent supervisory experience preferred.
Previous experience in all aspects of electrocardiographic testing for EKG, Holter/Ambulatory Monitoring application and analysis and Stress Testing is preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Successful completion of the Cardiology Technologist Certificate Program from a recognized accredited educational institution required.
Current certification by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) required.
Advanced CSCT certification, or recognized equivalent, required.
SPECIAL TRAINING:
Completion of a recognized course of study in health services management, such as the RRC/WRHA Team-oriented Health Services Management certificate program, preferred.
NOTE : Applicants who obtained their certification by CSCT at the Advanced level prior to 1995, and are currently still certified at the Advanced Level, will be deemed to meet the above qualification requirements.

Cardiac information systems and proficiency in the use of common software including email, internet and word processing applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

This maternity/parental term may expire sooner than the date indicated subject to a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice.
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
