Join the caring team at Riverside Glen as a Recreation Aide in Long Term Care. You will plan and implement engaging programs that enhance residents’ well-being and quality of life.

This full-time role requires a diploma or degree in recreation, leisure studies, or gerontology. Successful candidates will provide a Vulnerable Sector Check and TB screening before starting. The Recreation Team Member works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to foster excellent relationships with residents and families, ensuring a resident-centered approach to care.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
• Completion of a diploma or degree in relevant field
• Friendly, respectful attitude toward residents and staff
• Understanding of Therapeutic Recreation principles
• Familiarity with Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007
• Willingness to complete necessary screenings
