Make a difference in healthcare delivery with Healthcare Excellence Canada as a Program Coordinator. This full-time role focuses on project management, relationship-building with Indigenous communities, and supporting healthcare improvement initiatives.
HEC is searching for a temporary, full time Program Coordinator for a 19-month term under the Director of Northern & Indigenous Health. Ideal candidates will possess experience with First Nations, Inuit, or Métis health and wellness, alongside skills in healthcare quality improvement. You will play a vital role in engaging with communities while managing key administrative tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain Director's meeting schedules and project deadlines
• Reconcile travel authorizations and expense claims
• Coordinate internal and external meetings and travel arrangements
• Provide support for virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams or Zoom
• Track project budgets and assist in budget reconciliation
Requirements:
• College diploma or equivalent work experience
• Minimum two years in a dynamic environment, preferably healthcare
• Bilingual in French and English preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Office and virtual tools skills
• Experience in healthcare improvement is preferred
