Elevate community engagement as a Digital and Information Literacy Librarian with Greater Sudbury Public Library. This hybrid role focuses on enhancing digital inclusion and providing training programs.
Reporting to the Manager of Access and Engagement, you'll design and evaluate digital literacy services. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders and the creation of instructional materials. Your work will help establish the library as a vital resource for the community's learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop digital literacy training programs for diverse audiences
• Create instructional materials to support staff learning
• Deliver customer service training alongside team members
• Participate in library initiatives and committees
• Provide reference services in person and electronically
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science
• 2½ to 5 years of library experience
• Knowledge of library services and computer applications
• Solid interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Valid Class G driver’s license and acceptable driving record
