Shape lives as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Eating Disorders Program at the University of Alberta Hospital. Provide compassionate care and engage in group therapy support for clients and their families.

This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while focusing on inpatient clients with eating disorders. As an LPN, your skills in medical monitoring, assessment, and daily mental health support will be essential. You will guide families through education and treatment, ensuring a safe, quality care experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform medical monitoring and client assessments
• Support clients during meal therapy sessions
• Conduct suicide and self-harm evaluations




• Facilitate group and individual education sessions
• Provide ongoing mental health support daily

Requirements:
• Accredited practical nurse education completion
• Active registration with Alberta College of LPNs
• Minimum 2 years inpatient experience required
• Knowledge of mental health legislation essential
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
