We're adding 90,000+ sq. ft. to our facility and investing in exciting new technology as we continue to grow. With this expansion comes an exciting opportunity— we're looking for a Stud Welder/Labourer to join our collaborative team. Enjoy being home every day, steady year-round work, competitive hourly pay, excellent benefits package, employee perks, opportunities for advancement, and a positive team culture that invests in its people.Join us as we continue to grow and help shape the future of Morskate Manufacturing.ResponsibilitiesPerform stud welding duties, ability to set machine to properly shoot various sizes of studsAnalyze and interpret assembly drawings and sketches to determine measurements, layouts and sequence of welding stepsGrind and finish parts to specificationAdhere finished product identification and product finishing colored tag as per drawingInspect and test studs for proper weld to materialAccurate use of tape measure, square, levels, angle finder and other measuring tools related to specific area (in both Metric & Imperial)Operate drill presses, grinders, power saws and other hand toolsLabourer duties, assisting welders,
cleaning, sweepingSafe operation of overhead crane for material movement as requiredThis job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties.
