Shape the future of theatre at the University of Saskatchewan as a Sessional Lecturer in Drama this Winter Term. Teach pivotal courses focused on climate and performance.The School for the Arts is looking for a qualified Sessional Lecturer for two courses during the academic year's Winter Term. You will instruct students in DRAM 498.3 and the cross-listed Greystone Theatre Performance classes. Required qualifications include an M.F.A. or equivalent acting experience and prior teaching of undergraduate courses. Voice and speech training knowledge is desirable.Key Responsibilities:Facilitate in-person classes with engaging curriculaCreate and assess course materials for studentsSchedule and manage rehearsals for theatre performancesInspire and guide student learning indoors and outdoorsParticipate in marking and additional preparation daysRequirements:M.F.A. in acting or similar qualificationsRelevant experience teaching undergraduate classesFamiliarity with voice techniques is a plusValid driver's license for teaching off-campusWillingness to engage in preparation and gradingBring your passion for drama to the University of Saskatchewan and mentor the next generation of performers.
