Description Brandt Corporate Services Ltd is currently seeking an Accountant for our Calgary location.
The Accountant is responsible for preparing and posting journal entries, completing month-end and year-end reconciliations, and developing internal management reports to support accurate and timely financial reporting.

That’s Powerful Value, Delivered. What You Will Be Responsible For Reconciling bank accounts monthly and balancing transactions on a daily and weekly basis and resolve discrepancies
Month-end account reconciliations
Track and manage fixed assets, depreciation, and disposals
Preparation and posting of journal entries, largely monthly recurring entries
Preparation of regular internal management reporting,



including sales reporting
Analysis of certain account balances, including recommendations related to the analysis
Processing and review of customer refunds or rebate requests
Ensure accuracy and completeness of month end and year-end financial records of all transactions
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation on a need basis
Specific projects and other related duties as required
What We Look For Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
Post Secondary Diploma in Accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Good problem-solving skills
Attention to detail in all areas of work
Good organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
