We are currently looking for a lead material handler to join our team!

Roles and Responsibilities

Safely offload trucks and trailers utilizing equipment if necessary

Organize material around laydown and inside loading shed

Direct traffic around the laydown area

Compile and maintain a current inventory list

Inspect incoming deliveries , confirm order completeness and check for damages

Organize and tag items for outgoing deliveries

Attend morning toolbox talk and understand priorities for the day

Perform all other duties as assigned by the Superintendent

Required Skills and Experience

Ability to handle multiple priorities and properly organize their time





Communication with all parties involved to let them know they have received material

Able to handle paperwork and distribute to right party

Ability to work in adverse weather conditions

Previous shipping receiving supervisory experience

Excellent organizational skills

Experience with MS Excel an asset

Knowledge of mechanical , plumbing ,HVAC an asset

Minimum one (1+) year experience in material handling

H2S Alive, CSTS, WHMIS, MSDS

Additional Requirements

Travel may be required

Position may be on a job site
