The RCMP Police Officer cadet program in Canada begins with a 26‑week Depot training in Regina, SK. Successful cadets are posted to divisions and detachments based on vacancies and operational priorities to ensure effective policing.
Cadets receive a recruitment allowance of $1000 per week, free room and board, uniforms, training tools and courses, health insurance, and travel to and from Regina. Applicants must have a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent, be a citizen or permanent
