Working alongside experienced engineers, designers, and construction professionals, you will help deliver critical infrastructure while building lasting relationships with clients and contractors across the Greater Toronto Area.A well-qualified Contract Administrator will work with our engineering team of designers and site representatives to provide contract administration and risk management, and to evaluate compliance requirements defined in RFPs and construction contracts including review of regulations and Client requirements.We offer a flexible hybrid work model, enabling you to work from home and from one of our GTA offices.CIMA+'s Infrastructure team combines top-notch skills with an intimate understanding of the local community to deliver customized infrastructure services for municipalities and real-estate developers. Together, we'll push boundaries and go above what's expected of us to meet the challenges of tomorrow and engineer a better world!Primary ResponsibilitiesInterpret contract documents and administer construction contracts.Review progress, prepare payment certificates,



and certify paymentsReview, provide recommendations on, and resolve Contract Change Requests and Claims while managing change management processesWork collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams to evaluate and respond to RFIs, change requests, claims and contract disputesMonitor construction progress and contract complianceResolve field issues in collaboration with the project teamIdentify project risks and recommend practical solutionsLead construction progress meetings and prepare minutesFoster strong working relationships with clients, contractors, municipal staff and regulatory agenciesContribute to the success of the Infrastructure Field Services team through additional project-related responsibilities as requiredQualificationsContract administration experience in construction/reconstruction of water and/or wastewater infrastructure including water and wastewater treatment, water supply, storage and distribution and wastewater collectionStrong understanding of construction contract administration, including contract interpretation, change management, claims, scheduling and dispute resolution.Licensed member of the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) or Certified Civil Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) would be considered an assetPositive attitude with good leadership, communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in project planning, risk management, cost management, schedule management and preparation/administration of contract documents and specificationsAbility to interpret construction drawings and specificationsAbility to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary teamMTO Class 'G' driver's license in good standing and access to a personnel vehicleEffective communicator possessing demonstrated skills in dealing with other staff, contractors, and the public, with matters arising from construction projectsFamiliarity with current traffic control regulationsFamiliarity with relevant environmental regulations,



municipal approvals and local by-lawsPossess working knowledge of the Occupation Health and Safety Act and its Regulations, and Ontario Provincial Standards and Specifications (OPSS) for Municipal projectsExperience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Project).Experience with MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore or other construction management software is considered an asset.Integrity, team spirit, and a commitment to excellence.Why choose CIMA+?
