Contribute to community well-being as a Christmas Kettle Worker for The Salvation Army. Support donation efforts across various locations while working flexible shifts.

This temporary position requires an enthusiastic individual to assist in the operational duties of Christmas Kettle locations within a designated area. You will handle kettle donations, liaise with volunteers, and ensure secure transportation of kettles to and from sites. Your role is vital to promote the Christmas Kettle Campaign and engage with the public to foster goodwill during the holiday season.

Key Responsibilities:
• Distribute kettles to various locations before volunteer arrival
• Safeguard donations at the kettle during your shift




• Recruit and support volunteers across all activities
• Communicate daily with supervisors regarding operations
• Assist in delivering and picking up kettles when necessary

Requirements:
• Minimum of one year in customer service roles
• Valid British Columbia Class “5” Driver’s License
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift weights up to 12 kgs
