Support residents' wellness as a Recreation Assistant at Covenant Care. This role focuses on implementing leisure programs aligned with Covenant’s mission to serve with compassion and integrity.

As a Recreation Assistant, you will work under the guidance of the Recreational Therapist to assist in developing and evaluating diverse recreation and leisure activities tailored to residents' needs. Collaborating with the healthcare team, you will promote resident engagement and participation, ensuring that programs enhance physical, social, emotional, and cultural well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and executing recreation programs
• Evaluate resident participation and feedback for program improvement
• Promote socialization and community engagement activities




• Support teamwork and collaboration among staff
• Model Covenant’s mission and values in interactions

Requirements:
• Recreation Aide Certificate/Diploma required
• Valid Class 4 driver's license or willingness to obtain
• One to two years of Therapeutic Recreation experience preferred
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Solid relationship-building skills with staff and residents
