Reporting to the Manager, Mutual Funds & GICs, the Associate is responsible for handling daily mutual fund and GIC transactions as well as effectively communicating with portfolio managers,



investment advisors and fund manufacturers.Responsibilities:Execute mutual fund and GIC transactions with a high level of accuracyAnalyze mutual fund order rejections and communicate back to investment advisors and fund manufacturersInitiate trade confirmation and wire payment instructions to GIC issuersReconcile and maintain client accounts to match fund manufacturer and GIC issuer recordsManage accounts payable for the departmentProcess mutual fund commissions and trailer fees Monitor fund disclosure document delivery failuresAdminister non-financial changesAssist with other department functions as requiredSkills & Qualifications:5 years of previous experience in a finance or accountancy role preferredVery strong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to learn quickly, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEffective analytical and problem-solving abilitiesPositive and proactive attitudeProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with Dataphile and FundSERV an asset. #LI-SK1 #LI-Onsite #INDHPAll applications will be held in strict confidence.
