Job SummaryOur Delta, BC Branch is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Team. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for coordinating accounting operational functions. This position is focused on GL/financial analysis, cost accounting, internal/external financial reporting in compliance of IFRS, in particular IFRS 16 – leases and IFRS 15 – Revenue Recognition, reconciliations, annual audit, and other ad hoc projects requiring accounting support. This is a vacant position.Job TypesFull-time, Permanent Reporting to: Corporate ControllerPay$85,000- 100,000/AnnuallyScheduleHybrid, Tuesday & Wednesday in OfficeDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESServe as a key resource and business partner to the Finance and Accounting team.Analyze, review, and validate revenue recognition and gross margin reporting.Analyze material, labour, and overhead costs; perform cost and marginvariance analysis against prior periods, budgets, and forecasts.Compile, review, and validate financial data, statistics, account analyses, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support operational decision-making, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.Assist with month-end close and reporting processes.Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial statements,
