Job Description
The Administrative Assistant will report to the Restorative Medical Director and Director of Pharmacy and is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Qualifications
Graduate of an Office Administrative Program at a Community College or related field of study
Three to five years of experience in an administrative support role in a hospital or corporate environment, preferred
Healthcare experience and/or knowledge of medical terminology, preferred
Ability to provide strong administrative support to ensure HDGH operations are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
Ability to prepare communication, presentation and reports and exercise discretion with highly sensitive and confidential information.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment inclusive of management, physicians, staff and visitors
Ability to work in a demanding and fast paced workplace
Demonstrated superior computer proficiency and accurate keyboarding skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, online resources and database applications, an asset.
Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills are critical.
