Be a part of YMCA BC's impactful team as a Part-Time School Age Leader. Help create inclusive programs for children aged 5-12 each day, fostering growth and belonging.

This permanent, part-time role involves 27.5 hours per week, operating primarily from 7:00 am to 8:30 am and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. You will design engaging activities that support learning and development, while maintaining a safe environment. Working in collaboration with a dedicated team enhances the program’s quality and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop high-quality, age-appropriate programs for children
• Lead indoor and outdoor learning activities fostering inclusion
• Support new staff and volunteers through mentorship
• Maintain positive relationships with children and families
• Ensure compliance with YMCA and safety standards

Requirements:
• Experience working with children aged 5-12
• Solid planning and leadership skills
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Emergency First Aid & CPR certification required
