Provide high-quality, culturally-safe care as a Registered Care Aide with ćećəwət leləm 'Helping House.' Support clients' independence and well-being through person-centered home care services.
In this role, you will work part time, reporting to the Home Support Supervisor. The Registered Care Aide provides exemplary home care, assists with activities of daily living, monitors clients’ conditions, and performs light housekeeping. Your work will ensure a safe and therapeutic environment, honoring the needs of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation community through trauma-informed care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care support, including dressing and grooming
• Monitor client safety and report changes to care coordinators
• Maintain cleanliness through light housekeeping tasks
• Collaborate with team members for comprehensive care
• Support community health and wellness initiatives
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Care Aide
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience
• Valid BC Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
• Basic Life Support certification
• Criminal Record Check completion
