Join Island Health as a Full-Time Clinical Dietitian, dedicated to improving patient nutrition in a supportive setting. This role focuses on medical nutritional therapy and patient counseling.

You will support both hospital and facility-based patients, implementing nutritional plans per established guidelines. This temporary position is available from August 17, 2026, to September 3, 2027. You’ll collaborate with the nutrition services team to instruct patients on the nutritional needs tailored to their health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and evaluate medical nutritional therapy for patients
• Counsel patients and families on dietary requirements
• Coordinate with medical and nursing staff effectively




• Support food planning and preparation activities
• Maintain ongoing professional development in dietetics

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in dietetics/nutrition or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dietetic internship
• Current licensure as a dietitian in BC
• Experience as a practicing dietitian preferred
• Ability to develop effective patient relationships
