Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join the equity research team in Toronto. The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well with others and is willing to take on new challenges.



Please note that overtime is required on occasion for this position.

Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Head of Equity Research and Research Analysts
Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements
Assist with HR initiatives and office management
Process expense reports and invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain various databases, records and other documents




Other administrative duties for the department
Assist with special projects as required
Skills & Qualifications A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, Interest and experience within the financial services industry
Post-secondary education required
Degree preferred
Ability to demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to excel under pressure
Excellent teamwork skills complemented by the ability to work well independently
Total Rewards The expected base salary for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 and will be based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
